SITE UPDATE! As Yahoo! Site Solutions is no longer being updated or maintained after today, Thursday 31 March 2022, IRMA will be moving to a new provider. This will take us some time, so please be patient. We will be listing kit release dates on our new site. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

RHVP Models
This article is currently a work-in-progress.
Please bear with us as we continue the build for this great kit!
North American FJ-2 Fury
From Robert Vele comes a most interesting kit! This is the North American FJ-2 Fury, a post war jet aircraft for the US Navy. Having heard many great things about RHVP Models, it took a while to locate one. Wanting to add this historical piece to my collection, it was a very pleasant surprise to find that these kits are, indeed, worth their price!
Upon opening the box, an unexpected shipping style is shown. In addition to external and internal packing with the typical styrofoam and air pillow, each set of pieces is securely taped to the inside of the box. This is a method we will be adding to our IRMA kits for even safter transportation to our members and customers.
The resin is of the finest quality with details engraved with great care and accuracy. The parts fit well together for minimal sanding, filing and filling. One great aspect is the metal landing gear to support the resin fuseage and wings! The canopy is vacuform, well done, but still may be replaced with a clear resin one of my own.
Decals are for a US Marine Corps aircraft and look great! However, for my collection, a US Navy aircraft of the Naval Air Test Center is the goal, For this, the appropriate decals will be necessary. This is an excellent example of a resin kit to the highest level of detail.
This article will be updated as the build commences, progresses and concludes.
For these models, as they are typically sold out, my best recommendation is to watch closely on eBay and other auction sites. To contact directly, here is the information, also listed on page 1 of our Resin Manufacturers:
